The pain one feels when they have lost someone close to their heart is almost unbearable. They cry themselves to sleep, and see pictures or scenes in their mind that keep them up at night causing more pain. Sometimes we think that the heavens are weeping with us when we feel raindrops hitting our face. The tears fall for hours till you think there are no more, but there are still more reserved for times like this. You are with them till they die and you watch them die. You see the pain and sadness in their eyes so you try to close them; but you try in vain because the eyes return to gaze at you forever. That look forever printed in your mind.

"I'm trying, Katara!" Zuko replied. "You know it's hard for me to actually focus when it comes to studying."

Sorry I dont tend to write journals very often. So i am writing this one to kind of summ up whats been happening with me. Most of you have probably heard of the Waldo Canyon Fire in Colorado, well that right near my house. We were evacuated Tuesday June 26 when the fire started heading down the mountain. We had actually left a little bit before we got the call saying we were under mandatory evacuation. My grandma let us stay at her house until we were allowed back home. Me being 14, yeah I was pretty freaked out. I did not know if the house I had grown up in would still be standing in the morning. Thanks to the fire fighters i am now back hom
